You jerk, abruptly, the landing a little rough as you stand. Your clothes are dry and there’s no water in your lungs. You can breathe.

You find a bluetooth headset on your head, it crackles with static then goes silent.

The scene changes around you--

A burst of fireworks lights the night in front of you, truly this must be happiness? But as you reach to light another--

You feel a deep sense of loss and betrayal. A complete feeling of horror and sadness stop stop stop please stop why are you doing this why would you do this. The happiness is shattered, the beautiful world you’ve glimpsed collapses. You’re hurt and you’re angry and mostly you’re unable to understand why the people you trust are hurting you like this. The horror fades a little, less disorienting, and the room is as it was.
