Heart Game

You have the sensation of falling--no, drowning. Your lungs burn, you can’t breathe, you try to struggle but the current drags you down down down and just as you’re losing consciousness you know you’re dying...

You jerk, abruptly, the landing a little rough as you stand. Your clothes are dry and there’s no water in your lungs. You can breathe.

You find a bluetooth headset on your head, it crackles with static then goes silent.

Control Room

The room is a high tech computer lab basically. You’ve got monitors and computers everywhere, and a main screen takes up most of one wall. In front of you is a work station but the whole place is trashed, like someone took a baseball bat to the equipment. Much of it is broken and damaged, offline or looking in need of complete replacement. Exposed wires crisscross everywhere, many of them unplugged, some of them cut.

Electricity sparks from a few cracked pieces of hardware, and water drips from the ceiling in a slowly but steadily growing puddle on the floor.

[taking a few moments to get his bearings, taking off his bluetooth headset to examine it, then putting it back on]

[he also moves closer to the equipment, looking for something, anything, that's still functioning properly]

There is a door but it's one of those fancy sci-fi ones that needs a control panel to open and that looks offline.

There's one computer that looks fairly undamaged and not all the monitors are busted.

Static shocks you but you get the computer running. The monitor it's hooked up to currently isn't working though.

The first monitor is busted. But you can connect it to a working one. Once you do, there's a hummingbird logo on the home screen and a trash can. The only icons.

Some loose exposed wiring, an overturned monitor.

Also one of the Kazuki icons is reading "dead" and Anri's icon has gone from glitching to black.
