Oh Cub. Aside from the instinctual "cute talking doll is either cursed or a mass-murdering evil spirit or both" Shark actually finds Cub's very existence really exciting. A talking doll is definitely, definitely not "ordinary" and Shark just loves exciting and unordinary things. From that perspective, Cub is just majorly cool.
From the perspective of Cub's personality, Shark worries a little. Optimism is one thing. Shark's a scary optimistic idealistic in the most warped way. But even he doesn't subscribe to blind optimism. He thinks that's unrealistic and potentially damaging, because that kind of faith doesn't let you deal with problems (not that Shark deals with problems the most healthy way but he tends to at least acknowledge they exist) so what he's heard of Cub's philosophy worries him.
Other than that worry he thinks Cub us very cute and sweet.
